About Clobkare-CS Ointment

CLOBETASOL+COAL TAR+SALICYLIC ACID is a combination medicine used to treat psoriasis. Additionally, CLOBETASOL+COAL TAR+SALICYLIC ACID may also be used to treat seborrheic dermatitis. Psoriasis is a skin condition in which skin cells multiply up to 10 times faster than usual, leading to skin build-up into bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales. Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition that causes an itchy rash with flaky scales.
 
CLOBETASOL+COAL TAR+SALICYLIC ACID is a combination of three medicines: Clobetasol, Coal tar, and Salicylic acid. Clobetasol works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Coal tar and salicylic acid help break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells, and soften the skin. Together, CLOBETASOL+COAL TAR+SALICYLIC ACID helps in treating psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
 
CLOBETASOL+COAL TAR+SALICYLIC ACID is for external use only. Take a pea-sized amount onto your finger and apply it directly to the affected area. You are advised to use CLOBETASOL+COAL TAR+SALICYLIC ACID for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
